Oreos & Answers: Trivia Night for Community Action
Join us for Oreos & Answers: A Trivia Night for Community Action, a playful, purposeful evening of team trivia, meaningful conversation, and sweet surprises. This lively event brings together community members, service providers, and advocates for a night of connection and friendly competition, all while raising funds to support neighbors experiencing poverty right here in DeKalb County.
Gather your team or come solo and join the fun at El Jimador Mexican Grill. You’ll enjoy three rounds of themed trivia, stories from clients, raffle prizes, and of course, Oreos. Prizes will be awarded for top trivia champs, most creative team name, and the team that gave it their all.
Why Oreos? Too often, we make assumptions and judgments about the new SUV at the WIC office, the homeless individual spending their last dollar at McDonald's, or the mom with a full cart and a SNAP card. But joy, dignity, and little indulgences shouldn't be reserved for the wealthy; poor kids deserve Oreos, too.
Every dollar raised supports Family Service Agency’s Community Action Program, which helps over 1,500 households each year remove barriers to housing, employment, education, transportation, nutrition, and more. From disaster relief to job supports, our team walks alongside individuals and families as they move from surviving to thriving.
Oreos & Answers is more than just a trivia night. It’s a celebration of dignity, resilience, and community.

Makers & Bakers Market

Most importantly, every purchase and donation supports Family Service Agency’s Senior Services Club 55 helping us provide vital programs that keep over 1,000 DeKalb County seniors active, independent, and connected each year. From fitness and wellness classes to creative workshops and social events, your support makes a real difference.
With free admission and a spirit full of holiday cheer, Makers and Bakers is the perfect way to kick off the season. Together, let’s spread joy, give back, and create memories that warm the heart long after the holidays are over.

Royal Children's Ball

Princes and Princesses, Ladies and Gentlemen, Come One, Come All to the Royal Children's Ball! Imagine an enchanted evening for children from preschool through elementary school and their families. The evening will be filled with music, food, dancing, and other majestic family activities. Any donations toward the Royal Children’s Ball go toward making this event more magical for children in the community. We will also accept donations to pay ahead for low-income families' tickets.
